Digital Photography

We must know the fundamentals and basics of art because it also applies to photography. Lighting and colours are also important, because colours are used to express, communicate and understand the scene.

We were told to study Wes Anderson's movies and see how he uses colours to set the mood of the scenes and direct his movies. I personally didn't watch all his movies including Fantastic Mr Fox, but I have watched his latest movie, Isle of Dogs. Initially I didn't know what to think of the movie, but now when I watched some of the scenes from the movie and behind the scenes, I find it very fascinating and interesting. Wes Anderson is really a very unique director who clearly knows colours and what he's doing.

Our first assignment is to bring the materials to create our very own analog camera/pinhole camera.
